American Legion Walton F. Hoffman Memorial Post 179

Walton F. Hoffmann Memorial Post 179 has been a part of the New Braunfels community and history for over 100 years, providing scholarships and awards to local students, offering assistance to Veterans and their families, and supporting local organizations and events. Members of the Post and its organizations (American Legion Riders, Auxiliary, and Sons of the American Legion) provide a variety of programs and services across the American Legion's four pillars: Veterans Affairs, National Security, Americanism, and Children and Youth. American Legion Charity Golf Tournament

We teed up our inaugural golf event in 2022. Our vision is to host a quality fundraising tournament that:

• Is competitively priced and fun for its participants and volunteers;
• Develops and enhances our Post’s relationships with its sponsors by promoting local businesses and nonprofit organizations; and
• Has a reputation for responsible and transparent allocation of sponsor dollars, all of which are used to support American Legion Post 179’s four pillars of programs and services.
